I live in abandoned missile silo-turned-studio. It's great.. I purchased the property (and "silo") from the government dirt cheap.

The thing that sucks is that there just isn't real room for people to hang out, just a couple people in the actual liveable area.. a grungier area down a couple tiers can fit like 20 people but it's really not pleasant down there.

Adam - your place sounds interesting...

me, I live in a shared house... am 28 and been sharing with other people for about 10 years now in different places since I went to uni... would really like my own place but the prices here also suck... and it'd mean doing some kind of saving which I'm notoriously bad at... :)

i have a small 3rd floor in an old victorian in west philadelphia. about 2 min. outside center city. rent is cheap and the area is very nice. but 1 block north it starts to get bad but i never feel unsafe. landlord is just fine i even think hes pretty cool. no complaints other than id like to be right in the city and its carpeted.

I have an apartment with my gf and my landlord is actually really cool. Never had a problem except when we tell him something is wrong in the place he just goes into apartment. No phone call nothing, it would be different if we told him it was fine but long as my pipes are away I don't really care.
Accdntly what part of philly are you in because I live in Norristown. Does unfound throw any parties because that would be awesome to get to some minimal parties this year. I haven't really gone out in quite awhile becaues life is just too busy.
