there's a ton of midi controller options for the iphone. and things to control protools or logic and stuff like that.

One of the best thing for the iphone is turning it into a field recorder.
You should have a look at Fire
stereo recording , 44.1 kHz wave files...
Only draw back, you have to buy the "Mikey" mic from http://www.bluemic.com.

The quality is pretty good, and it give you plenty of new sonic material to work at home.

Not that I've found (appstore and cydia) :( If someone does find a decent one, please, please post here :D
