maybe it would be nice to post some links for drumlayering tutorials. most of them are not real proffesional, just starter ideas, and not for minimal techno too. maybe it would also be nice to sum up ideas of users.
Exampel : layer a kick drum with a rim or click. than a filtertered snare drum + the sampeld reverb of a kick wich is cutted very short.
or :
In the Hip HOp scene people layer a lot of real sampeld handclaps and finger snips with snares.
or a lot of the pros layer extreme pitched samples with classic hardware drumsampels.
maybe we can workout little tutorials for mini drums in this forum.
not every trick must be for everybody but its nice to share some ideas

i was just thinkig about it few hours ago telepatics? my way is very simple = record sounds from my jomox x base 09 to ableton, then few cuts here few effects there, record it again as a sample, put it into cells in battery then try to fit them into kick "on the fly" with korg padkontrol... sometimes sound great. hope u understand my poor english
