Nope, nothing can be done. Just met a guy here in Italy who rips (in poor quality) old Motown vinyls, puts them on CDR on sells them over the internet...Lame.

The market for a Russian website like this is very small I'm sure. I'm afraid that even as a major, there wouldn't be a whole lot of options on this one either. And JP is right, it is exposure;)

you can do nothing, because its a big mafia, most of the servers are in canada or other countries and the post offices are in uk, ireland etc.

i found some russian forum places, they are sharing over 30 music sites, many netlabels are on it.

you also can have a look to google for some releases of your label and you will find some russian places, they offer this tracks for money.

i also had this problem in the past with some releases from my netlabel.

i was writing to CC, but never get any feedback from them

Do you understand now what kind of country we live in?
That's why we (russian musicians) don't want to release our music in Russia. It's all twisted there. But Russia isn't a bad country. Russia have bad politicians and some bad people..

yes its just a mafia scam
i am shure people that buy tracks off sites like these don't actually know that the tracks are released on a netlabel for free. they probably don't even know what a netlabel is.
thats the problem.

so we need a russion version of mnml.nl , to let people in on whats up in the netlabel scene.
