it did make alot of sense. only IMO, it doesnt even make loud peaks quieter, because of makeup gain. so the only thing it actually does is make the quiet valleys louder, right? another way to say it is it adds harmonics. which leads me to my question to Torque - Is compressing a long low waveform to...

i've had the esx1 for two years now. since you're asking which one of the electribes is best suitable in combo with ableton, i say go with the esx most definitely. its a sampler, its warping and slicing algos are cool and have different charecter compared to ableton's. modulation is also very smooth...

ok first of all i like it alot. let me point your attention to sth else tho - listening close to the accapella the fizheuer track starts with, i found he shifted the beat on it. do you guys hear it? play the track from the start and imagine the strong beat (1st beat) drops on the second note instead...

plaster, it aint a matter of coolness, its a matter of CPU load. besides, 'two midi tracks' doesnt mean anything, because one midi track could give signal for 10 audio tracks. midi doesnt count, only audio. jesse, im talking about final mixdown here. i understand u like to tweak, but hey, do you con...
