I used to own a RedSound Darkstar and Darkstar XP2; I wish there was a plugin version. They were cheap VAs with a quirky sound all their own. I liked them a lot.

What's the most amusing of all, is that no matter your feelings are about the course or the company, Point Blank is getting free publicity.

Granted, this isn't the most heavily visited music forum around, but if they even get one customer it's probably worth it.

Does anybody own a Yamaha DX200 - the FM groovebox? I have only heard it via Youtube, as I'm into all the weird percussive sounds you can get from FM, thought about maybe picking one up off ebay but I'd like opinions on it as to how versatile it is. I don't remember w/ out it in front of me, but I remember there being two ways to save. I think one was called set, and wasn't permanent, and the other was a permanent change. It's in the instructions that come with it.

I'd have to look to be more specific, but I have two settings for on power and I think one for battery. iirc: power: 2261MHz @ .9375V 2346MHz @ .95V It wouldn't do max speed at lowest voltage error-free for me. battery: 2261MHz @ .9375V I believe on-battery I left it at only one setting, since it's ...
