Pica is a live minimal techno project formed by artist/musicians jamie drouin and michael pettit in 2005.

using a reduced setup of two laptops and two drum machines, pica develops all of its patterns and compositions live through a dynamic and fluid interaction between the two artists. this not only allows for a unique program each time, but also means the results can move freely between abstract and danceable techno.

pica's sound is centered on the slow evolution of patterns and creating a particular soundspace which allows the listener to focus through a dense web onto various levels of beats and textures.

been enjoying the incoming live pas lately
feel so thirsty to listen what new acts have to say with their music.

so goes for Pica, fluid all the way as you noted, very nice companion for my 6am web strolls.
