Next issue of Mixmag (Free Hawtin CD)

Havn't bought this magazine for about 6 years but I bought my first one the other week (the one with the band Hard Fi on the front cover) in the airport for my holiday flight to Gran Canaria, and there was an article on minimal music, Panorama Bar in Berlin and Luciano! And the best news was that the next issue (due out within the next week I think) comes with a free Richie Hawtin mix CD!!! Thats my second issue bought in the last six years then! Mixmag going minimal! Don't know if its a good or a bad thing????

He's been a great dj for a long time. and "going minimal" I doubt, but them covering it or giving it more attention is important since it's kind of branching out and spreading it's wings a little more in the techno music world.

and btw, how could it be a bad thing?

to be fair its not the first time richie has done a CD for Mixmag...

Mixmag Live Vol 20 is a Plastikman mix from teh building in windsor..

Its still one of the best Richie mixes I have...

so, what has minimal been to you? a trend? very hot this season, out in the next? then you should join a fashion forum or sth like that

music is music and no trend. there is no "in" and "out" in music ...

ontopic - im interested in how it will sound like, so i ll have in mind to buy the new mixmag ... remember that one from '95 ...
