i am producing electro extremely "minimal" for a few months now,
but i wanna really get it started...
i wanna buy a decent
-software sequenzer
-analog synthesizer
-audio card
-edit: what else is recommendable
im not that wealthy so du you know some cheaper but good ones?
please help me
Starting big time
ok here are my choices, well what i would get for myself if i was doing that kind of stuff.
analogue synth (for bass mostly i am guessing)-
dave smith evolver
studio electronics atc-1
sequencer-
live 5
cubase
logic (mac only for 5.5 & up)
audio card-
this all depends on how much you want to spend and how many inputs you need to have. if you could post up some specs of your computer and what you need to do with your card then i could be of more help.

i know theres no magic key
i just asked for some recommendations
cuz i aint got that much money but want to get the best results out of it / best equipment
im using windows desktop pc and already own a dr-670 drummachine
can i use an audio card as a midi controller / interface for an analog synthesizer and the groovemachine? mines is mainboard based crap so i have to buy a new one
bringing back the synthesizer ... im tending towards the "mikrokorg" and mackie tracktion 2 (cuz its much cheaper than aleton live 5) as a sequenzer!
i would thankful appreciate your experiences, impressions or advises!

If I was to be staring again, I would get ableton 5 and an Xstation by novtaion.
Ableton does the same as Cudase and Logic then some and is quite a bit cheaper.

And you can get loads of free plugins. Check the sites below for links

http://www.kvraudio.com/get.php
the X-station has it all in one Synth, sound card and midi controller all in one. I am sure there are others which do this but top of the list and has been there for a while in Future music.

Also if it is Electro you are looking to produce I would recomend regestering on this forum.

As well as this one I mean.

a good soundcard
a nice mic
good headphones
and a basic midi controller
you shouldnt run out of possibilities with that for years
once you have that sh!t running you nca Dl all sorts of free crazy sh!t.
if you invest in a soundcard. maybe an M Audio firewire 410
they have ins/ outs MIDI SDIF mic preamp, phantom power etc etc
i have one and it works great, i use it to record all my analogue sh!t snd it makes a smooth transition with ableton
