vst problem in live 5???

sometimes when i download freeware or demo vst/ au plugins off the net ableton won't be able to find them in its menu. has anyone here run into this problem? it is kind of annoying since i have some plugs that i really want to use but can't get ableton to find. any help would be greatly appreciated!

have you tried refreshing the vsti folder?

well i found out how to refresh it but i don't think it has helped anything. when i go to the supatrigga folder and look to see what is in it there is nothing even though i know i have put the vst in there.

did you try the AU version of suppatrigger?

ok i think i have solved it for now if anything else goes wrong i will probably post it up here again. thanks fellas.
