new Depeche Mode single has some good remixes

Post by Andrew Duke »

Not all good news, though. I find it incredibly
frustrating that the only Monolake take on Depeche Mode
is the B-side of the 7"! I mean, it would have been nice
to see Monolake remixing the actual single, plus on the 12" and CD,
instead of the focus being on a certain someone who has already
done 4 cover versions as singles (not naming a certain name); see
below for details. Ditto for Alter Ego on the vinyl instead of relegated
to limited CD as well as a DVD single.
Oh well, I'm not the A & R person. Though if I knew who s/he
was, I'd give one heck of a talking to. Andrew

This is a problem I've had for a long time with DM releases--if you want to get everything, you would have to re-buy a lot of tracks (or wait 20 years for a remixes album set).

Looking forward to hearing these though...

Seems to be a British thing overall.
