I'm planning on going to Oslo this summer. I don't know much, but I do know that I wanna party.
So, can anybody give me advice or urls of clubs and parties to go to this July? (Of course mnml / techno orientated)
I read about The Villa, is it any good?

Clubs in Oslo?
When in July are you going? Things tend to get announced a bit late for parties in Oslo, however, there are a few things that are posted on the net as for now.
Most stuff gets posted on http://www.repeat.no/forum-1.html
It's a Norwegian forum, but you should be able to understand the most important stuff, who's playing and where (club). It's just to ask in there as well, and people will most likely give you a hand.
I'm a bit outdated on Oslo now as I've lived in another city for the last five years, however, whenever I'm in Oslo, the Villa (www.thevilla.no) is always a place I visit when I got out, so you should check it out. Otherwise, there are clubs like Sikamekanico (or how they write it, not sure) and a place called Blå / Fabrikken. The concept Sunkissed (http://besunkissed.blogspot.com/) use to have their parties at Fabrikken/Blå, and they usually have one party each (every second) month (not quite sure any longer9.
Is is also announced a small weekend festival at an island right outside the center from 9th - 11th of July, mostly locals playing, but some international artists as well (http://www.sommeroya.no/engelsk/index.html).
In the summer there's also usually some "private" parties as well at various locations in the center of Oslo. Open for everybody, but because of the strict laws w.r.t. closing time, alcohol sale hours, etc, one needs to RSVP on beforehand to be on the "guest list" just in case uncle police shows up. Anyways, the best way to get to know where/when these parties are is to check the Norwegian forum (repeat.no).
