ableton live

i was wondering if when you go on stage and use ableton live, an artist uses both the arrangement an live function or just the live part??
what is the best way?
it seems to me that when you use the arrangement function in ableton live,you aint really going live........

You can actually use both. If you have a track laid out in the arrangement view, you can still tweak and do other things in the session view at the same time. Flexibility is definitely one of the beauties of Live.

yes, of course you can use both.
but i find a pity to play finished tunes with ableton live.
live is live!...just my opinion...

yes,that's what i was thinkin.

Can you play such a liveset as the "pro's"

,without using the arrangemend section(are they using it?),cause if you cant play a liveset thats sounds perfect with the 'live section" alone,al the fun is gone for me .
.....IS IT POSSIBLE.....

the only discussion that levels with that one is the eternal mac vs. pc battle on producing forums...

Right now mac runs on pc's,so the battle is fighted in the same ring :_)
