Recommend me something laidback along the lines of....

Post by bennytwohats »

Something not too heavy, along the lines of these:
Dusty Kid - Milk

Extrawelt - One Tree Hill
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVpUXfhQd6A

Also the new Claude Vonstroke tune is fucking lush, would love to find more stuff with this kinda vibe, all the videos are down at the minute but you can here it on his myspace (first song in player - Vocal Chords):

Thanks if anyone can help out! :D

I thought the examples made it pretty clear what i meant without needing to get caught up in semantics.

You could check out Jesse Somfay's productions.

Ambient isn't always laid back, though.

As above! Pantha Du Prince and Jesse are semi-Gods.

Try Anders Ilar too.

Check out the latest megamix from Detroit Underground (DETUND). There's some nice mid tempo chill techno, idm, and listening stuff.

Nice one guys thanks very much. :)
I am working my way round to giving everything a proper listen, will report back.
On first listen Jesse Somfay sounds excellent.

If anyone hasn't checked out Mike Sheridan he's well worth a listen. Similar to Trentemoller, but a more soundscapey and ambient in places. Amazing production on his album.
