Allen&Heath Zed Series

Post by Edward_Molton »

Is there anybody who's using the Allen&Heath Zed Series as mixingdesk? I'm thinking to buy the 1402 version and I was wondering if somebody is using it.

is it smart to buy an analogue mixer in a complete digital setup?
whats the big advantage of it (besides the sound) ?
any additional costs to implement it in your digital setup ?

For me it's mostly to improve my sound. And I have a few hardware bits that I might connect and record then via USB into my DAW.
