Anyone using this or has input, knowledge, opinion about using an EQ for room correction?

May room is fairly treated. I've got bass traps and stuff. But i think there is always room for imporvement.

There seem to be very different opinions on the whole concept of room correction via EQ.
For example: http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?p=191819

What do you guys think?

That's what mastering is for, and unless you have a specific problem, don't worry so much about it. All you need to know, is keep high ends high, and low ends low...because they carry better, being a lower frequency.

He, it tends to depend on who you ask. My assessment, based on some half-thorough research, is that if you're not happy with your acoustics after you've set your monitors up properly and treated your room then you're either recording in your bathroom or you care too much about acoustics. On the other hand my listening sucks, so follow the above advice at your own peril ;)

And "that" is not "what mastering is for".
