converting to wav in itunes

so this may be old news but its new to me. im facing a problem converting sounds in itunes to wav/aiff. new update looks like its limiting me to aac which doesnt seem to be doing me any good. can anyone please help me out? finally have reason and ableton again and ready to start working again.

Not sure what version you are using and on what?

On a mac anyway you have go into preferences > Importing, then you can change the 'import using' setting from there to Wav, aiff, apple lossless etc.

might not be a help to you.

In case you were unable to figure it out on your own, the step after setting your import settings is to right click on the file you want to convert (after putting it in your itunes library) and selecting the convert to wav or covert to aiff or whatever you are doing (aiff and wav - same thing basically)

The wav will be in your itunes library folder somewhere depending on how you have it setup, so you may need to poke around looking for it or do a search
