Post by tolfrey »

OUT NOW ON BEATPORT - DIGITAL ONLY RELEASE

Silverclub ‘Crash This Car’

1. Original
2. Jimmy Edgar remix
3. Tolfrey & Ashken’s T.A.S.H. remix

Leftroom take a step into new territory unleashing the superb new project, Silverclub, with their single ‘Crash This Car’.

Silverclub bring an amalgamation of contemporary sounds, fusing the talents of underground electronica / techno producers Duncan Jones (formerly DNCN), Tommy Walker III and Leftroom’s MarcAshken.

The results are synthetic melodies, dreamy lyrics and a sound that sits somewhere between Beck, New Order and Depeche Mode. Daring, dramatic and captivating, their music is as fresh and credible as it is commercial.

Notching up performances that are a testament to their appeal, Silverclub played this year’s Glastonbury festival, a sell-out show at London's Dingwalls alongside the likes of Razorlight's Johnny Borell (with Amy Winehouse in the crowd) and are head of the bill at Manchester’s revered industry conference In The City. Recently making their debut TV appearance they are also due to be part of the forthcoming BBC Radio Introducing series.

‘Crash This Car’ will be Silverclub’s debut single backed up by a superbly twisted electro-funk remix from New York based former Warp artist Jimmy Edgar. While Leftroom artists Matt Tolfrey & MarcAshken AKA T.A.S.H. produce an epic techno rework with flashes of soul.

Current DJ support comes from:-

Laurent Garnier, Dubfire, James Holden, Nic Fanciulli, Lee Burridge, Simon Baker, Danton Eeprom, Seth Troxler, DJ Three, Shaun Reeves and Ryan Crosson...
