how can i get this compressed sound without hearthing my ears?

i mean clean and strong , obviously its highly compressed, just that when i compress my tracks they get a sharp sound that hearts my ears, unlike the smoothness Dear has

Can't you cut off the hard edges by applying some EQ?

i don't really know, is that legal? what frequencies should i cut?

hehe...man, everything is legal...just find the adequate means to achieve what you want to express....the eq solution seems fair enough to me...

i recently started to play with ableton's filters on beats.


try choosing the second envelope (hpf to lpf) and adjust the range so it has a suitable low end.

it works really good + the sound is really phat and pumping.
Drop the idea of becoming someone else, because you are already a masterpiece.
