Quitéfrut is born in berlin from the collaboration between fabio della torre, a half of minimono and the parisian dj mattako. it's about a frienship between 2 persons who share the same passion and opinion of the actual club scene. for telegraph, the quitéfrut 1st release brings a simple but strong product. the 3 tracks presented here are differents but made in the same spirit. an old school dubby techno flavour with the use of analogic instruments and rough samples. quitéfrut wants to fill the gap of what is really missing in the actual dj electronic panorama.. in a way! the track "but" is a mixture of subby and groovy elements with a surprising housey synth opening the sound in the middle of the track. "you know" is an effective dj tool more jackin' still with a dubby structure. "in a way" is a long and trippy track, with a mellow detroity synth grooved by 909 sounds in a fresh and original way..
