PLEASE HELP! MAC OR WINDOWS?!

Post by sking08 »

Right!

Ive finally got enough money to get a laptop - to DJ with, Ive been using Traktor on a desktop PC for ages.

My question is ... do i NEED a macbook of some sort - or will a windows laptop of the same if not better spec do the job just as well?

Part of me thinks you end up paying much more just for the apple logo.

Im stuck .. any advice is appreciated

Thanks :)

if you're only using it to DJ, and not connecting to the net, get a PC. This way it will be more stable. If you need the net on your computer, it doesn't slow macs down quite as much.

go with what you are used to working with and has your choice tools available for it... There is no sense in getting a Mac if your a PC person or a PC if your a Mac person...

+1
With new technology there isn't much of an edge either way so I would stick to the OS your used to.

if your just using your laptop for DJ it doesn't really matter. If you want it for production and internet as well go for a mac.
