The second lengthly outing in a series of four from Pheek, "Mandragore", cranks up the weirdness a dozen notches beyond recognizable normalcy. Here we have 20 minutes which constantly build and evolve over time, as with De Begg Degg, however Mandragore drives down a more immediately strange road with plenty of drive with which one can only give in and contort beyond the head's maximums and into a completely foreign and immaculately elastic frame of mind.

Wobbly warmth filled melodies gradually enter into the scene and take over, still driven ever more taught, and yet remain as fluid as an ocean at the same time. Just as your mind begins to fall out of its aural culture shock, change occurs once more and a woozy melody climbs rightfully overtop and slowly wiggles its way in between bending crevaces of rhythmic macros and hypnotically flows off until the very end.

can't wait to hear it! love the previous one, so hope this is just as good (which it probably is)

btw, is the trick with this series to go backwards with the cat# ?
