On Quagmire’s second O d’Chimera EP, Ion Ludwig goes back to the future. Influenced by the Rhodes piano and Jazz Ensembles from the ’50 he delivers an EP which has a highly instrumental background. Music to listen while drinking a Scotch and smoking a Cuban.

Centerfold connects you to the world of dreams. Hypnotizing repetitive Rhodes are characterizing and building house grooves characterizing this track. Step by step you start to understand what this music does to you. Forward to the History.

White Exterior is modern and classic jazzmusic for the mind and feet. The bass and pianos tell you a story of moodyness while the drums are shuffling forward. Music is back, History is the future.

I'm not a huge fan of the mixing+mastering as I feel that they lack alot low-end, so the drums (especially hihats) come out too much out of the mix for my taste - which really is a shame because the a-side is sooooo lovely.
I hope this just has to do with the clips but I unfortuanly doubt it because of the quality of the mp3.

maybe it sounds better on PA-system than on my monitors and headphones, things like that happen too.

I will buy this anyway however, I encourage what you do composition-wise. you got my support. =)

I suggest everyone does the same thing, go Ion!

Amazing! That's even better than the first one! Both tracks are fantasic, exacly what I'm looking for.

The only bad thing about this is that's it's still six weeks till release.
