Thoughts & Opinions on Z3ta+ & Vanguard synths

Post by digitalbunny »

Hey all,
Looking for some feedback/advice on the z3ta+ and vanguard synths.
Has anybody been using these at all in their productions, what are your thoughts surrounding them and are they good at producing sounds relevant to the various genres discussed on this forum?

Thanks in advance

you can take whatever synth you want and make whatever kind of music with it. seriously...this is getting really annoying.
Drop the idea of becoming someone else, because you are already a masterpiece.

so are the same ol' elitist responses to every production question.
I so humbly apologise for wanting some feedback on software that other people may have used, what was i thinking!?

k, sorry..i exagerated definetly. that's how i felt this morning. why don't you try them and see if it fits your needs. i tried zeta, but the interface is not really my thing. some good ldigital sounds in it...but i prefer smoother sounding synths.

If I would have to choose between the two, I would defo go with Z3ta+. Lots more oscillators, modulation (the matrix is great!) and routing possibilities, it goes way deeper than Vanguard. And I also prefer the sound of Z3ta+ over Vanguard, but that's personal.
Gui wise I slightly prefer knobs over sliders, but hey, can't have everything :-).
From what I remember Z3ta+ is less cpu friendly than Vanguard.

Z3ta+ sounds a lil better to me...if you are trying to make "minimal" music which I'm guessing you are, it's all on yourself to tweek and strip down your sounds so that you can find what you like. I prefer knobs as well for tweeking my sounds..
