Hi... where are the free downloads?. I dont find them.

Seems that some people dont know what is a netlabel.
junodownload.com wrote:192kbs MP3 -> £0.99
320kbs MP3 -> £1.49
WAV -> £1.99
Not free downloads = Not netlabel

Then in this way archipel is also not a netlabel because after some time you must pay if you want the release...

The difference is that Archipel offers free downloads too.

In punkidrecords i dont see nothing free, only a link for buy their music, then sorry but that for me is not a netlabel.

Don't know what you can call it otherwise because these tracks are not available on vinyl.

Anyway, if £0.99 is already to much trouble for you, let it go

These days everything should be FREE for some people :shock: :roll:

I dont want controversies but that my opinion, and whenever I see something similar I say it. For me, by definition, in a netlabel must have free music, if that dont exist then is not a netlabel, is another thing: commercial label, online label, etc.

If we call netlabel to all labels with web page..., until Sony would be an netlabel.

The quantity in this case doesnt matters, is equal 0.99€ that 15€, the money by itself, changes the things.

For me is not the ideal, but reflecting I can I still can understand that a netlabel sell its music if also has free downloads, like archipel, but if only offers music by money, no.

That is my vision of this universe.

well, i think it's perhaps not a question about the fact that people want to get only free stuffs but a question of what people expect to see in this section. This section is in fact dedicated to free music. If it's not free, it should be posted in the Label section (such as Archipel, Clever, Sinergy Networks, Between Us... topics).

Indeed, there are a lot of definition for a netlabel but here it meens free stuffs.
