ricardo @ fabric's 7th birthday

Post by antonio_pt »

facts worth mentioning:

- the sirens are so last summer, ricardo has now opted for raging motorbikes (and more weird sirens behind them!)

- dummolator!!

- chicago, chicago, lots of chicago.

- 10 am and he plays two wicked dubstep meets tablas joints causing total mayhem.

- his own version (i suppose) of shackleton's 'blood on my hands', with a techno kick and a continuous lfo'd sub-bass. more damage...

- the freaks remix of recloose's 'landed' coming in totally unexpected. beautiful tune.

- his own bootleg/remix of beck's 'cellphone's dead', very a la 'sinner in me' but a lot more trippier with eerie vocals. hope it will be released.

anyone got any more interesting musical facts from the night?

Matthew Styles did a great live set. a bit housey, but something different :)
it was my first time in Fabric, bass is something like earthquake, going form your feet through whole body (room 1).
evening was great, but i couldn't keep it up until the end because of too many ppl.

Drop the idea of becoming someone else, because you are already a masterpiece.
