ableton - arrangement

i want to put my samples in it per drag&drop. is this possible? i dont want to activate the record button and make it live... i hope you know what i mean :)

there's not much to explain! open the arrangement window, drag your sample from the ableton file browser, drop it in an audio track!

press CTRL when dragging multiples samples in arranger and you'll have a nice surprise... ( or is it ALT... )

try to record the track. maybe that's what you are looking for?

select all the clips you want to move over and drag them to the upper right corner to the three horizontal lines (arrangement view).
