well, imo tracktion is a tracker, not sequencer. (haven't used it though, my last tracker was jeskola buzz quite some time ago)
I'd go for live. Imo its easier to get ur head around. And nothing wrong with the sound quality, it just sounds different than cubase, but if u haven't been into makin musik n sh!t then u'll never notice.

From the screenshots, though, tracktion 2 looks like it lost his tracker soul and looks more like a regular sequencer...

ur right, I confused it with renoise :roll:
