Looks like nintendo ds also got some tools for music production. check out these two homebrew software:

nintendo ds drum machine

nitrotracker ds

...not to mention elektroplankton and nanoloop both very famous.

Does anyone here own a ds?

I'm thinking about getting one soon.

electroplankton is basically interactive art or a toy... there isn't much room for creativity as all results are basically within the limits of what the artist imagined.

However, some of the components of it have served useful in one of my projects. It's fun and you can come up with some neat little sounds.. but lends itself more to lo-fi ambient business

this will be a blast for gameboy musicians. there's a huge scene going on for a while now. 8bit musicians and stuff like that. very cool.

I've got a DS and i realy want to try this drum machine ...

but i don't have idea of how to put it into my console..

I'v used nanoloop a bunch of times. The sound is raw as fck.
