[Archipel020] Scout - The Day After (2006)

Post by pheek »

I. New politics of Archipel

After almost 2 years of operation and many years in the netlabel scene, we believe it is time to move to new ways of working. We recently signed with Beatport, as well as working with Kompakt for mp3/wav distribution.

*We are not going to pure commercial distribution of mp3's. *

From now on, pre-releases that are beat-oriented will be available exclusively on Beatport and then on Kompakt. After 2 month, the release will be available for free as we have done since our start.

*Ambient and experimental music will remain free.*

With the large amount of Netlabels appearing every months, we still have the goal of offering you high quality electronic music. By supporting artists with a symbolic pay, we are able to offer a bait to get even better music for everyone.

II. New Pre-release of Scout: "The Day After EP"

Archipel reaches its 20th net release and is proud to present Scout's "The Day After." Keeping with the Archipel tradition of quality and depth, Scout's release is no exception. Here we are presented with three originals and two remixes of tightly produced hypnotic late night adventures. [Read more on http://www.archipel.cc]

lauhaus mix is nice when it gets into it.

too many fifth chords and filtered pad sounds and things on the record though.. sounds like montreal stuck in 8 years ago.

not a big fan of house.

the cover is cool though ;)
