if you go the expresscard + pcmcia option, i would recommend emu 1616m, just got one and it works like a dream on my shitty laptop !

is that the one with the extensive routing? a friend of mine has it, actually it's at my parent's place for the moment.
but that's just a regular PCI card with a firewire outboard, no?
how do you use it on your laptop then? anyway, in that case my mbox is even smaller then that. I'm trying to do the opposite. going smaller, not bigger.
