this set is the reason why i finally put down the konpiùta one,
welcome to my new obsession of the week...

think of wide open fields of endless space + the blue skies
above, filled with wispy clouds. then feel all the gentle
breezes; creating ripples in the long grasses + shifting shapes
in the cloud formations. then factor in the absolute joy of
being a child + running until you fall down laughing, unable
to breathe. you're experiencing this with your best friend,
the ONLY person in the entire universe who understands you...

are you happy yet?

now take the guileless joy of your childhood + combine it
with the conscious sagacity of adulthood. flashes of
perfect moments captured forever in the inner recesses of
your mind come flooding back in the form of distant
sounds, ancient scents, forgotten dreams, a long lost mate...

yes, this is so bittersweet.

finally, take all of these descriptions + filter it through the
lens of everything that you have ever learned in your
lives. this is the sonic embodiment of pure consciousness...

oh, melancholic BLISS!

please pay particular attention to the melodies that
start in at these times [which develop + shift for awhile] :
6.40, 14.30, 23.15 + 29.30.

uritotti : thank you for sharing this with us!

ezekiel honig : thank you for creating this beautiful journey.

+ a belated THANK YOU to
tecknoism for posting this before.

;)

i took some time off from music which
is the reason why i missed your post.
i'm rather upset with myself because i
should have been listening to this set
for months instead of just the past day.
