ableton and midi controller - best combo?

I'm using Ableton Live and have been looking to purchase a good midi controller. I had a m-audio oxygen2 but i didn't really like it. I've been looking for a new one for a while and as of now am looking at purchasing the Edirol PCR-M30 and am also considering the Korg Microkontrol, although I have read that the Microkontrol does not work so well w/ Live and is better for Reason. Has anyone else used these products and what do they think? What other controllers do you all use and which have you found to work the best? I'm looking to spend b/w $200-350, maybe 400 tops. I'd appreciate any advice/comments as to what seems to be working for you. Thanks.

novation remote 25 maybe. they make great controllers from what i have heard...

woah...that novation remote sl looks pretty amazing...thanks for pointing me in that direction.

has anyone used these and can comment on them? i'm pretty intrigued.

from what i have heard they are fucking incredible. i have not tried one as of yet but plan to.
