Kenada - Aubade Is Dream

Post by kenada »

Hey All,

Got a new track up on my new My Space page. I had to finally submit to the foul temptress that is my space.

Tracks called - Aubade Is Dream.

I actually dreampt this song. I was in that half lucid half dream state, and a song started to play in my head, I let it play, and finish, then woke myself up, rushed over to the computer, and after sitting there for about 8 hours, had this finished. This was 6 years ago.

I decided that it needed an overhaul, so I have gone over everything replacing drums/effects and generally giving it the old spit polish treatment.

I am very happy with the way this track sounds, I ought to be my subconcious wrote it.

Good clean production mate. Some sub type bass would be nice to hear in the latter part of the track - would really help to move it along. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Good work!!

I really like the way so little is going on in here yet so captivating, nice to hear, especially the opening 2 minutes.

It progresses really nicely and has a great deep feel to it. Gets a bit funky later on which is an enjoyable aspect to it. Enjoyed this one. :)

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I always loved the intro on this track, i ddi however cut it back by 16 bars, the first stick used to drop at bar 25, now it drops at 9, but thats better in my opinion, gets into the build sooner.

I think I might have to make this track into a tribally/minimal ep dealey-o.

well, fingers crossed.
