Have you noticed a difference with the roland vca chip?

I've heard it's not really worth it, afterall it's only in the amplifier section and the vca chip you get with the kit is just an updated version of the roland chip.

right on. i've read all that. i did knowtice a slight difference when i get it really tweeked out. its nothing crazy. it adds a little more background noise to it as well. personal preference i guess.
