Why is it very bad if someone wants to introduce something new into their set?

If you found sounds that you really enjoyed regardless of what genre wouldnt you want to add them to your playlist? I would!

I dont understand bashing a dj for using minimal instead of banging. Its these attitutes that feed the stereotype of minimal being snobby.

I am about to grab the set, but I totally agree with your statement.
Chris Liebing is definitely a solid techno head, he's been around, he's good and he's worthy of respect. Atleast in my book.
Comparing him to Tiesto (of all people) is just silly. And Liebing playing minimal stuff certainly does not signify some sort of "commercial death".

More power to him if he wants to play minimal stuff.

Definitely.

This set seriously kicks ass.

Loads of great tracks in here from across the spectrum. Even the minimal stuff is pretty edgy and agressive imo, which is true to Liebings style.

I just can't understand why people have a problem with Chris Liebing playing minimal stuff - he's a techno dj. And he definitely is not commercial, its not like the set was played by Tiesto or Oakie. I don't get it.

I definitely prefer minimal grooves, but I am a techno head first and foremost, so I enjoy the banging stuff as well. If you have the time to do it, mix it up.
