I agree with you in second part. Melchior produced it that way.

hm.. can't hear anything, is this the right channel? ..yeah .. hm .. let's turn up the gain a bit.. nothing .. ok let's turn up the gain ridiculously much.. aah, there it is.. hm, but still.. well that's it i guess..

this is pretty much the same with ZIP/Baby Ford - UFFF Trelik release. same manufacturing ?!

i agree. that release is quiet as hell and hard to mix because of that. its also pretty boring. im selling my copy

in terms of this release, i probably won't ever play the Blessing but the b side is pretty cool. I doubt these are tracks he produced recently...he said in an interview somewhere he waits a while to figure out if a tune is worth releasing or not.

I have these needles and the sound is still disappointing. I find that the music coming from this crew often sounds a bit flat at home but when you play it on a big system it sounds fine.

How do you find those carts/needles in general? I keep snapping the needles anyone else do this? I have broke about 5 sets in the last 12 months and its starting to really piss me off. Previously to hat I had the standard stantons which never
broke.

In general, love them. The bass could've been a bit tighter though.
I also find them a bit too loud, but this is more to do with my mixer than the carts, so it's a non-issue.
