It's a ok work-around, but i think when i'm playing i gonna mess it up eventually.

Trust me, unless you can reprogram the Ableton Launchpad API, or create a Max4live patch, there is no other way to do it. It's just how the launchpad works. Anything you find will be workarounds.kdgh wrote:Aah i see what you mean.

I spent ages trying to do a similar thing wishing there was a better way to program the bloody launchpad! I ended up buying max4live and spending a lot of time on that...
I ended up using an automap patch as it doesn't interfere with the Live patch.

can you not map the 'session' button to deactivate the midi out track.
