Jeff Derringer returns to Perc Trax after the success of his 'Tarantula EP' at the end of 2010. Since then Jeff's rise in profile as a DJ and producer has been mirrored by the success of the Oktave events which he helps promote in Chicago and New York. For his second Perc Trax release Jeff showcases a grittier sound, stripped down but still packed with detail and like before he has been blessed with remixes from two of the best producers in techno right now.

First up is Dino Sabatini whose recent releases on Sonic Groove and Prologue have seen his productions gain greater recognition than ever before. As well as his solo work he is half of the Modern Heads, whose 'Mendax' collaboration with Perc on Stroboscopic Artefacts was a highlight of last year. Dino serves up a dubbed-out atmospheric take on Jeff's original mix, built on the kind of broken beat sub-bass foundation which is appearing more and more on Perc Trax and in Perc's sets.

Rounding things off is Milton Bradley, head of the Do Not Resist The Beat and End Of All Existence labels. Milton has already appeared on Perc Trax with his remixes of Perc's 'BCG'. Here he takes his own voyage of sonic discovery one step further as reverberating chord stabs roll over an incessant 4/4 kick whilst a classic Milton Bradley soundscape unfolds in the background.
