Sequencing/Tracking capabilities built in or just lines for processing audio?

no sequencing.

if you think about it, you can do all the receptor can do and much more with a laptop ...for cheaper

this is not so new news isnt it?
the thing is u can load your vsts from receptor instead of laptop and significantly reduce the CPU load.

At first I thought this was ultra cool. It's a neat concept and what have you, BUT

There really is no point... just have a computer, or an extra one if need be. You can even get a rackmount PC.
