Fresh from the success of Matador’s Faberge remixes, which produced Beatport chart hits in both the techno and minimal genres, new Australian powerhouse Open Records returns with another stunning remix package from our latest compilation Expansion Pack.
Inspired by the rest of the tracks from Woodsman’s stunning two disc compilation, US techno giant Erphun headed back to the studio to give us a fresh interpretation to his stunning track Seenaak. Taking the original elements down a deeper, yet more driving route, the second mix is dusty desert techno at its best and is a perfect alternative to an already amazing original track.
UK juggernaut King Unique delivers the second mix, fresh from smash hits on international juggernauts like Bedrock, Microcastle and Global Underground. Stripped the track back to its bones and reworked into a smooth yet grinding percussive deep tech cut, King Unique’s mix is nothing short of brilliant and sure to be a hit during Australia’s upcoming festival summer.
Finally, rising star Sheff delivers a storming dancefloor destroyer to close out proceedings, building on his recent releases with Open including two tracks on Expansion Pack and a remix of SunControlSpecies’ Sleeve. With bomb after bomb coming out of his Israeli studios, expect more from Sheff on Open Records very soon!
