how do you know the tom is male? just because Tom is a boys name doesn't mean it's a he.

anyway the only way you can make it longer is by timestretching, pitching it down or looping.

or make one yourself... to get you started, use a triangle wave and pitch-modulate it (so pitch goes from high to low quickly), that's the 808 sound.

you could also try a specific compressor. I find the LA2A emulation on my liquid mix does the job nicely.

The problem is how can Dubfire make that fck*n tom bass in dios, ribcage, emission..i don't know how to make a tom sounds like that one.
Every tom i use is so short, if i pitch it too!

theres no 'tom' in ribcage afaik , its just a sinewave
