may his soul rest in peace but may his intentions press on... make the music live! If you have read the comments he has posted on media outlets like youtube.com he makes it clear that making the music live and is the greatest thing that he could have envisioned. Although I have never known Aaron Carl personally it is clear that Aaron Carl is a man who would nothing more then to have other gain pleasure from his musical expression.

No matter how your expression may diverge from his expression all should respect it because of the universal nature of his connection to the human need of happiness, sorrow and need. Nuff said.

For the past few months we have been working with artists worldwide, putting together a charitable compilation project for the cause of amnesty (Amnesty International). In the midst of this all, tragedy struck close to home. On the 30th of September, good friend and fellow recording artist Aaron-Carl passed away from cancer. Aaron had been in and out of the hospital for nearly three weeks, and submitted work for the upcoming project just days before his untimely passing. His passing was truly soul shocking for all of us here at 6ONE6 (seems like yesterday we were toasting his birthday at Oslo, and speaking to him on the phone). In light of circumstance, we made a decision to divert from our original plan and approached the whole crew with a new idea and purpose. Everyone unanimously agreed; all proceeds from sales of the forthcoming 6ONE6 Compilation “Flash” go to the surviving family of Aaron-Carl. The compilation project is scheduled for release in the 4th quarter (2010) and features music from: Aaron-Carl, Kevin Reynolds, Arne Weinberg, Steevio, Hakim Murphy, Santiago Salazar, Kazuya Kawakami, Pirahanahead, Robert Bosco, Myles Sergé, Tommy Vicari Jnr, Detroit People Mover, Grimes Adhesif, Derek Scott, D-Knox, Clemens Neufeld, Sam Watson, Russ Denman, Schwanbeck, S-Tek, Andrew Duke, Greg Rapier, Luis Ruiz, Mark Archer (Trackman), Marcus Stork, Elektrabel, Mario Massaro, and more. Available in CD and Digital formats. Help support a good cause. We miss you Aaron, rest easy brother. Peace.
