I only have Hotmail, because of MSN messenger.
you DON'T need a hotmail address in order to use
msn messenger. you just supply whatever
email account with which you want it to be associated.

as far as safety goes; msn, yahoo, + skype are all
bandwidth "sleeper" applications, especially for windows.

mac users have more leeway because they have
better security. but i still despise msn, yahoo, aim +
skype because they're unnecessarily processor
intensive. so i avoid them all whenever possible.

irc is the way to go... why doesn't mnml have a channel? ;)

windows users : you can condense many of
the various messaging applications into one interface
by using the free [link --->] trillian.
software description wrote:Trillian is a chat client with support for AIM, ICQ, MSN,
Yahoo! Messenger and IRC. It has the ability to login
with multiple AIM/ICQ/MSN/Y! accounts at the same time.
It has a custom, skinned graphical interface using
XML, transparent windows, buddy list integration/importing
among all mediums and many other features.

you can search for + download many freeware
applications, including audio toys [!!!],
exclusive of operating systems at version tracker.

happy leeching! ;)

I use MSN and AIM...not really for or against either of them. As long as I can communicate when I need to and turn the programs off when I need to, then it's just peachy ;)

Drop the idea of becoming someone else, because you are already a masterpiece.

i know, but in the time when i took a msn account it was not possible.... (7 years ago). And i don't want my "normal"mail account attached to MSN messenger.
