Kontra-Musik continues its 10” remix series. This time turn has come to Ben Klock (OstGut Ton, Berghain) and Oni Ayhun (OAR) to rework tracks from the Jason Fine Future Thought album.
Before we had well received remixes from both Marcel Dettmann and Shed. Mr. Ben Klock now finalizes the Kontra-Musik Berghain resident sessions with a stomping, Chicago-esque dancefloor track. By adding vocals but keeping Jasons original chords, there is some serious anthem warning to this one. On the flip Oni Ayhun leaves us with a stunning and experimental techkraut excursion. Think Yello Magic Orchestra jamming on beats provided by Morris Day and the Time…
Jason Fine released his debut album – Our Music Is A Secret Order on Kontra-Musik in 2008. Before that Jason released an EP on Omar-S´ FXHE label. Right now he is now working to set up his own label, Minimal Mind Music, and a new Jason Fine EP for Kontra-Musik is on its way.
