Good news for any Live users in and around London. Ableton has agreed to support an official London user group and help us out with the launch.
A small group from the Ableton forum have got together to arrange the launch and discuss the format of the regular meet ups in London. We are lucky to have Martin Delaney on board, who has worked with Ableton from the beginning and is widely regarded as one of Live's leading experts and who will also provide demonstrations over the coming year.
Alongside demonstrations from experts there will be the opportunity to perform live at events and of course meet other like minded individuals to take advantage of sharing tips and techniques centering around production and performance.
The general consensus of all involved is that those who show support for the group in it's early stages, ie now, will have priority in the future, for example having a say in the direction of the group, receiving a slot at a live gig or booking a place at one of the free demonstrations.
There is a lot to discuss at this early stage and there is definitely an air of excitement at the prospect of what can be achieved in the future.
