post rock, folk, hip hop, trip hop, dubstep, elctronica etc etc. Would be quite boring just to listen to techno/house all the time!

I took a break from minimal today using Theo Parrish dj sets and Edan. Oh man, how I used to love hip hop. 8)

i constantly cycle between disco, old Ron Hardy tapes, Krautrock (Ash Ra Tempel, Cluster, etc), 60s/70s early synth like Morton Subotnick and Terry Riley, Fripp+ Eno, Raster-Noton, and some ambient/drone stuff a la Stars Of The Lid.

don't find time for much else.

when i was younger i used to be right into my bands and play guitar, dont do it so much these days, but i used to listen to a lot of pink floyd, stevie ray vaughan, jeff beck, and rush. rush's 2112 album kind of made me start thinking about electronic effects because of the amount of analog synths used in it and the fact it was pretty much an entire song the whole album the way its structured, is much like a DJ set. i also listen to some trip hop & acid jazz, and dabble in a bit of hip hop mainly wu tang and a tribe called quest! loved instruments used in them, rhodes, wurli's etc and the really slow groovy beats.
