As I find myself in geographical transition once again, I have put together a nostalgic and emotional story with the sounds of Russian netlabel Fragment. With a wide range of vibes from bleak and sparse click patterns, awkward jazz glitch, and sublime deep dub, thieir versatile catalog brings out feelings of confusion, heartbreak, and optimism all in one frosty breath. Although they haven't released in quite some time, just before uploading this mix I received word of a great coincidence, they have just launched a new sublabel, Passage. I'm excited to hear what deep aural insights are next from this crew.
