I would love a prophet 08 I think that my moog voyager and fr 777 work really well when used along side soft synths... great contrast in sounds. Have fun with that 08!

Omar S uses a Poly Evolver, not a Prophet 8.

Man, even with youtube encoding, the sequenced sound in this one just sounds so.... smooth, and unabrasive. The strings he plays over it are from the Prophet 5 VST on his computer (you can see this at the very end of the video) and sound ridiculously thin by comparison. Are my ears tricking me somehow or is the quality of pure analog over VA really that obvious?

the prophet 08 sits unbelievably well with the voyager, they seem to occupy entirely seperate sonic zones.
its the first thing i noticed when i plugged it in.

i got some analog drums and now i'm unsatisfied with everything else.
