I never thought the day would come, but it certainly did, and now I wish to share my experience being that it occurred on this board. I was lurking about the dj & live sets section, I clicked on what seemed to be a mix that I could get into and download. As I scrolled through the thread and read people's comments, I was drawn inn to a request for an ID of the last track in said mix. The "DJ" that had mixed the set gave the wrong ID and someone else corrected his mistake. At first you I thought just a mistake on the part of the actual "DJ" but then it hit a cord for two reasons:
1. The name of the incorrect track given, was the second to last track of a mix that I had previously posted.
2. The correct ID given for the last track in said mix was the last track in the mix I had previously posted.
I am sure you can do the math. So I proceed to download said mix in hopes of feeling stupid for thinking that one would be "creative" enough to use someones mix in his or her own. Let it be known that my mix was used and other mixes I have heard from others on this forum as well.
My question is what if anything is this type of "DJ" called ? Is this the next level ? Is our economy that bad that people do this because they can't buy their own tracks ? Anyways, just needed to get this off my chest. Cheers

b) probably best that you don't
are you basically saying that someone used the same two tracks you did, in order, in another mix? unless they were mixed in exactly the same way (which could happen), i can't see why you'd be so mad.
